1. Agreement to These Terms
By accessing or using the TaxAid AI platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. They form a legally binding agreement between you and TaxAid AI. If you do not agree, please do not use our platform.
2. Our Services
TaxAid AI is a financial monitoring and awareness platform that:
- Continuously monitors financial data from your connected systems
- Generates alerts when meaningful changes or risks are detected
- Provides financial summaries and conversational guidance through Akeel
- Offers access to human consultant support for reviews and on-call guidance
TaxAid AI is a support and awareness tool. on your behalf. You remain in control.
3. Your Account
To use TaxAid AI you must be at least 18 years old and authorised to act on behalf of your business. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account.
Please contact us immediately at contact@taxaidai.com if you believe your account has been compromised.
4. Subscription & Payment
TaxAid AI offers a free trial with no payment required upfront. Subscription options and pricing are presented at the end of the trial period. If you choose to subscribe, fees are billed in advance and are non-refundable except where required by law. You may cancel at any time.
5. Acceptable Use
You may use TaxAid AI for lawful internal business purposes only. You must not:
- Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the platform's source code
- Use the platform for any unlawful or harmful purpose
- Attempt unauthorised access to the platform or its systems
- Resell or transfer access to the platform without our written consent
- Use automated tools to scrape or interact with the platform in unintended ways
6. Your Data
You own your data. By using TaxAid AI, you grant us a limited licence to access and process your data solely to deliver our services.
We connect to your ERP and accounting systems via authorised integrations. We do not modify, overwrite, or interfere with your source systems.
The accuracy of our alerts depends on the quality of data in your connected systems.
7. Alerts & Guidance
TaxAid AI's alerts and insights are designed to support your awareness and decision-making.
You acknowledge that:
- Alerts are generated algorithmically and may not always identify every potential risk or opportunity.
- Guidance provided through Akeel is for general informational purposes and is not a substitute for professional financial, legal, or tax advice.
- ll business decisions are made at your discretion and based on your individual judgment.
- For important or complex matters, we encourage seeking advice from qualified professional advisors.
8. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property in the TaxAid AI platform - including software, algorithms, designs, and branding - belongs to TaxAid AI. These Terms do not transfer any intellectual property rights to you.
9. Limitation of Liability
TaxAid AI is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential losses, including loss of profits or business opportunities, arising from your use of the platform.
Our total liability shall not exceed the fees you paid to us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to a claim.
We are not liable for any financial losses arising from your reliance on alerts or guidance from TaxAid AI.
10. Termination
You may cancel your account at any time through your account settings. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms. Where possible, we will provide reasonable notice before taking such action.
On termination, your right to access the platform ends immediately. Provisions relating to intellectual property, liability, and confidentiality continue to apply.
